Does your child often misunderstand what you or others say? Is your child struggling in school? These may be symptomatic of many learning difficulties, but could spell auditory processing problems. Though the word auditory would lead you to think that this is a hearing problem, auditory processing can be present without any hearing difficulty at all and with average to above average intelligence.
Our team sees clients of all ages and backgrounds. We specialize in, but not limited to, auditory processing, cognitive impairments, cognitive fluency, working memory skills, reading fluency and comprehension, language impairments, and speech deficits.
We see patients by appointment Monday – Friday. Referrals are welcomed, but not necessary. To schedule an appointment please call 901-767-0050 between 8am – 5pm Mon- Fri.
Our process begins with an initial evaluation or screening. Next, we discuss our findings and recommended plan of treatment. Then we schedule the therapy sessions, which consists of one-on-one interactions with a therapist. One-on-one interactions are always beneficial when improving skills because of the attention to individual needs and the trust that is built in one-on-one interactions.
Our goals are to resolve or reduce impairments through therapy, build self-esteem, and facilitate the carryover of integrated strategies.
Our mission is to provide the most innovative and comprehensive therapy to help our patients maximize their potential by applying the principles of neuroplasticity.
Our friendly staff is here to great you with a smile.
